I love this!! I too would move back to Europe (previously lived in Ireland), but I've got student loans and medical issues lol so alas I'm stuck here. But I think you brilliantly (and perhaps unwittingly) captured the differences between these two cultures with the slogan of the video channel that your daughter enjoys: "seek discomfort." Americans will bend over backwards not to offend people with terms like "climate change" or "corporate greed," which are blatant facts of life. Meanwhile, Europeans will plunge right into a discussion in order to seek truth and resolution- which is the more effective way to solve a problem.
